pie chart
Have the world poor been getting poorer?
Or has there been any progress made against
global poverty? Click on this link:

http://myhome.spu.edu/ddowning/global/gdppie.htm

for some diagrams that illustrate
some of these changes. Each diagram
is a pie chart for a particular
year, with the size of each pie
slice representing the relative
share of the world’s population
for that country or group of
countries, and the color represents
the per-capita income. Links
to the data sources are included.
